First Show of the year

Me and Keano had our first show of the year yesterday and it was sooooo cold when we left Buckie, i had Keano nice warm jacket on at least some of us were cosy. It was a short hour long journey to Thainstone where our rings had been moved to another hall i started to panic when i went into the main hall i couldnt seen any hounds!!! I am glad our rings were moved because you couldnt get moved in the bigger hall.

I didnt have any epections today as i was manly going to get some practise before Crufts and as Keano is a tad over weight at the moment i thought i would be happy just to get placed in the class. It was the biggest entry of whippets ever i think at the show with a total of 35!!! Keano was in open which had the biggest entry of 12!! There were only two boys including him in the class the rest were bitches and all fawn.

My boy did me proud and went well enough for him to be placed 1st!!! I was over the moon because i really didnt think i would get anything if am being honest. So the Speymalt team is off to a good start to the year i hope it contiues.

Here are the results for the whippets i did take my camera but as usual it stayed in my bag!

Its a dogs Life!

How cool would it to be a dog. You sleep, you get feed, taken for walks and best of all you can sleep whenever and where ever you want!!!

In Keano's world he loves nothing better than streaching out on my bed, sleeping under the covers and on my pillow.!! But how can you get a dog with a face as cute as his in trouble!!
